About Fiona
Fiona is the lead User Experience Consultant at SimpleUsability, the Leeds based eyetracking and usability agency. Graduated as a product designer, she's always looked at design from the user's perspective. Her first job was just outside of London for a snowboard company and has travelled extensively following her passion of board sports. Whilst managing corporate intranets for a blue chip company in Ireland, she got the opportunity to gain formal training in website usability. Her passion for all things user centred, evolved into working as a usability practitioner full time and being pulled slowly northwards to her Scottish roots. Fiona now pioneers the use of eye tracking as a tool to understand users' conscious and subconscious strategies when using websites. She has worked on wide range of websites including retailers like Asda and Republic. In her talk, she will be sharing experiences and findings from her usability research and dispelling a few eye tracking myths along the way.
